Comments Claire Anne was ordered new at the Southampton Boat Show September 2003 and commissioned on the Hamble River January 2004. Her first passage was to Hampton on the Thames, averaging excess of 20 knots in a SW 4/5 on the first leg to Ramsgate. Since then she has cruised to Deauville 2004, Holland 2005, 2006, 2007 & Dieppe, St.Valery-sur-Somme, Belgium & Holland in 2010 as well as shorter cruises to the UK East Coast. At 3100 rpm the engines give a comfortable 25 knots, averaging 1.65 mpg. The engines and stern drives have been professionally maintained every year since new. Small hairline cracks were discovered in 2008 and the boat was transported to Desty Marine, Port Hamble where full repairs and hull strengthening were carried out under Sealine's warranty, the boat being returned to the Thames in March 2009. Additionally new carpets were fitted to all cabins, a new battery charger was installed and other minor repairs were completed.
